The Feeling of Pop, Live —— Concerts From Pop Singers
2025 is already well into its second half, and autumn has arrived as promised. For me, it’s a quiet season — when the leaves turn yellow, the air grows cooler, and somewhere on a street corner, under flickering lights, there’s always a line of people waiting for the beginning of sound. Go see a concert this fall, it might become one of those beautiful memories that stay with you.
Lately, there have been many live performances worth anticipating. The stage, the lights, and the sound — all in their own way — remind us why the live experience still holds a special kind of magic. Here, I want to share a few ongoing or upcoming pop concerts — voices that truly belong to this moment.
「HIT ME HARD AND SOFT」Tour — Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish’s HIT ME HARD AND SOFT tour began in 2024 and has been going strong for over a year. After wrapping up her shows in Australia, Billie has returned to the U.S. for another round of performances across different cities. As someone who has experienced it firsthand, I can say with certainty — this is a show worth every bit of your attention.

It just feels SO Billie: a sonic and spatial experiment that redefines the emotional density of pop music. The 360-degree stage blurs the boundary between artist and audience, while waves of bass and light ripple through the air like liquid, wrapping everyone in a shared rhythm. The show opens in a haze of blue light and mist — the synths of “CHIHIRO” surging like a tide, carrying both tension and tenderness.
What’s most moving, though, is how she turns loneliness into something collective. During songs like “TV,” “Your Power,” and “Skinny,” her voice stands almost bare — no heavy accompaniment, just her and the breath of the crowd. In “when the party’s over,” she asks for silence, and for a few seconds, an entire arena seems to hold its breath as she drops the final note into the stillness. Then comes “bad guy,” a playful rupture — Billie grinning into a GoPro, projecting herself onto the massive screen as the crowd shouts along. Finally, as “Birds of a Feather” closes the night, the lights shift from blue to gold, confetti rains down, and thousands of voices rise together — chaos turning into something tender and deeply human.
If you want to feel the emotions, energy, and creativity of Gen Z embodied in sound — go see Billie Eilish live!

With the release of her new album Virgin, Lorde returns to the stage with the Ultrasound Tour—a performance that feels raw, intimate, and completely unrestrained. Stripped of the elaborate theatrics of her earlier eras, this show focuses instead on emotional honesty and physical presence.
it’s a living, breathing portrait of what it means to keep searching for oneself in front of thousands of people.

I’m a one who loves going to concerts. Whenever I attend a show by an artist I love, the choice is never just about the music—it’s about the memories shaped by sound and experience together.
For me, the true meaning of pop music today is connection. It’s a language that speaks of loneliness, joy, and everything that lives quietly in between.
